Nina's Diaper Bag

My Sister, Lorena, made this bag special order for her friend. She wanted a baby bag that would serve a purpose after it's life as a baby bag. I thought it was super cute and needed to be posted. I have seen close up pictures and these do not do it justice, it has a great Asian inspired print. Good Job Nina!

Nina's Craft

My sister, Lore, made this for Alyssa. You can see on Avery how long it is but you can see on Alyssa why. It is a bib that doubles as a place mat. I know my sister saw this somewhere and she was inspired to make one. I would like to give credit where credit is due but I can not find the original email. So maybe Lore can give a shout out in the comments.

I love this idea and truth be told Avery needs one to. Not only does it force the kids to not squirm in their seat but clearly it holds all of their droppings and don't end up on the floor.

Thanks Nina!

Spring Flowers

I had some time today and decide that Alyssa needed some hair clips. She really does not but this is what I came up with none the less.

Mardi Gras Mask

The great thing about starting a new quarter at work is that we get to have a party. You know celebrate our selves for what we did and inspire for what we want. At least that is what I hope people get out of it. But I am not delusional. If I am right most of my sales associates are probably most excited about the themes and the food. Last quarter we celebrated different fashion trends like the 80's and 70's.

This quarter we are going Mardi Gras. Somewhat inspired by the Saints winning the super bowl. Plus I get to ultimately choose the themes and I have always wanted to have a Mardi Gras Party. Sometimes it is good to be the boss.

I made this mask for one of my co-managers, it took me roughly eight hours and two days. I have not started on mine but will share.

California Winter

Alyssa dusting off her hands of excess soil.

First and foremost I have to say I do not envy everyone who is snowed in sorry Lety. With that being said I planted flowers today. I guess this is as crafty as I have gotten in the past couple of months. Not exactly couture but they are very pretty.

I almost forgot to give Nina a shout out and THANK YOU! for the awesome reversible Halloween apron that she made for me. It is so cute.

Feathers

My sister came to visit today, you know sewcranberry ( http://sewcranberry.etsy.com) and we decided to waste as many hours as we could at Jo Ann's, then Michael's. I have been wanting to get some feathers and make a hair ornament of some sort. So today was the day.
It really was not that hard once we got started. We did do some tweaking to get it to lay flat.
I bought enough feathers for myself Lore and my D.M. She is funky so I thought she might enjoy it. Looks good if I do say so myself. I have not made mine yet but Lore was able to leave with hers. I will put this out there now as my other sister lives in Virginia, Yes Lety let me know if you want one and I will send it. :)

Hair Clips for Alyssa

When the fair was in town I bought Alyssa some really cute hair clips. I thought to myself after taking a good look at them and said I can make these. I have not done crafts since I was in high school (beads). Anyhow Alyssa is wearing one of three different clips I have made her.
Alyssa picked this ribbon. She likes Hello Kitty. This is the original clip, the inspiration if you will.
