Hugs and Kisses

I realized Avery is now very comfortable with school (which is good). But I must say I am a little sad, let me tell you why. We arrived to school before class and Avery quickly found his friends. The bell rang he gave me a kiss good-bye and asked if I would wait until he walked into class, as I always do. Our routine is he waits in line to get in class and before he walks in he turns and waves. Avery was too preoccupied playing with his friends in line and walked in with out waving good-bye.

I was tempted to call out to him but realized it was his stepping stone. I took Alyssa's hand and we walked away.
